James Bolt has appeared on MTV and performed at the Lollapalooza
alternative rock & roll tour. He has won numerous poetry slams and
competed at the National Poetry Slam. In his first full-length project,
Bolt brought several years of performing and writing together for his
acclaimed one-man show "YOU ARE HERE" Subsequently, he took his
words-in-motion to Lisbon, Portugal as the opening performer for Lisbon's Art Expo and slammed with local poets in Tokyo, Japan.
Jim has also shared his poetry, music and teaching skills with students
in the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County Jail as a catalyst for growth, healing and enhanced self-expression.
